Dr Fernanda Penaloza is a scholar of Latin American cultural studies with training in Argentina and the UK and works in the Department of Spanish and Latin American Studies at the University of Sydney. Her work centres on knowledge production, identity and transnational connections, exploring how Latin America is culturally and politically constructed across regions, including its interconnections with Australia.
