Lluwannee George works in Diversity and Inclusion at the University of Sydney and has connections to the Semsep and Peidu clans of Erub. Her work focuses on culturally informed policy and practice, building on previous experience at the Australian Human Rights Commission, where she contributed to the Wiyi Yani U Thangani women’s voices project on First Nations gender justice and equality.
