Shane Phillips is a Bundjalung, Wonnarua, and Gringai man and a respected advocate for Aboriginal rights. A longstanding leader within the Redfern Aboriginal community, he is widely recognised for his work on youth issues, juvenile justice, and Aboriginal deaths in custody, championing social justice, self-determination, and community-led change.
