Facilitator profile
Dr Tristram Alexander is an Associate Professor in the School of Physics. He is trained as a theoretical physicist, completing his PhD under Professor Yuri Kivshar at the Nonlinear Physics Centre (ANU) in the area of nonlinear wave dynamics in Bose-Einstein condensations. He continues to work in the field of nonlinear waves, but has broadened his interests to a wide range of nonlinear phenomena, from heat flow to social dynamics.
