Andy Tran

Andy is an education-focused lecturer at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Sydney, with over 6 years experience in teaching statistics. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) with a double major in Statistics and Mathematics and has completed an MPhil and PhD in statistical bioinformatics. His research is centred around statistical analysis and methodological development for precision medicine, including for COVID-19, melanoma, transplant rejection and coronary artery disease. Andy is passionate about STEM education and leads a range of outreach activities for students of all ages.
