Robyn Ewing AM, initially a primary teacher, is Professor Emerita, Teacher Education and the Arts and Co-Director of the CREATE Centre, University of Sydney. She is also Co-Director, Big Sky Stories, Broken Hill and Co-Convenor, the Foundation for Learning and Literacy. She is a strong advocate for the transformative potential of the Arts in our lives and learning. In 2015 Robyn was made a member of the Order of Australia for significant service to higher education, teacher professional associations and the Arts. She was the 2012 recipient of the Lady Cutler Award for Distinguished Service to Children’s Literature.
